The Diploma of Community Services is ideal if you’re seeking a career in community services that involves managing, coordinating and/or delivering of person-centred services to individuals, groups and communities.

As part of this course, you will undertake units that provide specialist learning in communication, diversity, child protection, group work, counselling, case management, advocacy, legislation and ethical practice.

You will need to organise a 240 hour supervised work placement in a Community Services organisation to be able to complete the assessment requirements of the course.

Upon completion of the course, you’ll be able to work autonomously, provide direct support to individuals and groups, and undertake program coordination.
